If you are looking for a home in Leesburg, VA, then you have come to the right place. Throughout its history, Leesburg has been home to a variety of different native American tribes. John Lederer, an archaeologist and historian, testified that the Dogi originally inhabited the Piedmont area. Later, the Siouan tribe drove in from the northwest. Eventually, the Algonquian Piscataway (Conoy) moved to an island in the Potomac. These tribes were present when the first Europeans arrived in the Loudoun area.

In the 20th century, Leesburg became known as a cosmopolitan city after George C. Marshall developed the Marshall Plan for Europe, which helped rebuild Europe after World War II. Today, Leesburg is a historic small town, but its rapid growth in recent years has weakened its small-town identity. Leesburg is located along Virginia State Route 7, which runs through Loudoun County. Those traveling to Leesburg can access the city via U.S. Route 15 or Virginia State Route 7.

If you are interested in history and architecture, Leesburg has several noteworthy historic buildings. The Market Station complex, for instance, contains a historic railroad freight station and stationmaster's house. Two barns and a gristmill are also located within the Market Station complex. During the summer, Leesburg is home to the Leesburg AirShow, a popular entertainment and dining event. The air show features warbirds and parachute jumpers, and is a unique way to see the town from the air.
